Don't give them your insurance paperwork and have a contract attorney review the contract before you sign anything. Force them to give you a legitimate bid.

Chris is one of the most pig headed individuals ever met. For how many millions he claims to make he seems to go cheap on the simple things on a job. Chris is the owner but he owns nothing he or his guys do. It’s always a excuse. Materials ran late or it was sent wrong. The “skilled labor” was unprofessional and always late. Wrappers everywhere. I could go on and on about the work and help but what got me most was the owner. His reviews show it all. He attacks anyone that speaks the truth about him. He will never be on my property again. He isn’t worth suing. He has a bankruptcy against him as well as more I wasn’t willing to pay to see. Not the kind of guy I want working on my home.

He wrote a “estimate” for my house in Denver and basically told me the price would go up if I didn’t sign it then and there. He disappeared after giving him a down payment. He is very unprofessional.

I have since received a refund from Chris garland. I can’t say it was painless but all issues have been resolved.

I have no continued issues. I wish him the best.

Made deposit of 5k. They disappeared for 2 months.

Finally delivered materials. I asked for refund due to lack of communication and unprofessionalizum.

They declined but wanted to pick up materials. I said no and then the threats started.

This is one of those clients that we are not sure what went wrong here. We have multiple communications with him on record.

Between the 2 months he took several weeks to pick a new color. Then when the order got there he wanted us to have the roof torn off and open from Friday to Monday. We said this will not work due to snow storm coming on Monday. So he decided to cancel.

We cant refund someone who has our materials on the roof.

So we had to go pick them up first then give a ck. Very much a pain to work with this client and a huge waste of our time.

Beware of this company!

Beware of this company. They came out to do a quote on my roof. The estimator asked me to sign an "estimate". I asked if it was a contract for the job and was told "no, this is just an estimate". Few days later, materials are delivered to my home without my knowledge. Phoned the company and was told that the "estimate" I signed was a contract, we have your job now and we will do it. I think not. I already had a contractor by this time. Chris tells me he would like to talk with my contractor -- they talk -- they work out an arrangement for my contractor to use the materials dropped off and that my contractor would purchase them from Chris. Safehouse is now trying to come after me for the materials they sold to another contractor? Very shady company -- if you decide you don't want to pay their inflated rates and find your own contractor -- DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING WITH THEM! Shocked

This client actually stole the materials and had a different roofer put them on his house. There is a LIEN on his property from the supply house and I am going to court now in December to get the cost of our materials back. Please folks dont believe everything you read.

RUN! Its all a game with these cons. I had to babysit the crew the entire time and call the ownerd several times to insure my house was handled correctly. They lied to me and my wife about pulling work permits. Hung up on her and called me trying to play us.. refused to speak to her anymore. We had to continue our business via email to ensure proper work quality. Such a hassle and headach. Do yourself a favor and shop around or do your research before hiring these guy. Lie after lie.! Its all about $$$

Stay far far away from this roofing company. My roof looks horrible and it took them 6 months to finish it. They are a rip off and they still chsrged me $2,000.00 after the insurance company paid.

Wouldn't use this company if they were the last roofer in Denver. How they still have a license to do business is a miracle.

Salespeople are rude the so called production staff is totally unorganized. Never knew when or who was going to show up even months after I signed a contract they couldn't get stuff finished or done right. I thought that speaking with the owner might help. Wrong!!

He's worse than the rest of the bunch. Stay away!!!

Met their sales representative Shane at the Denver Home and Garden Show and he convinced me they could take care of the hail damage on my car in 2-3 days. It took a week and a half, but no big deal. However when I got the car back, it reeked of smoke (non-smoking car), there were almost an extra 100 miles on it, it was down a quarter of a tank of gas, and they still had another piece of trim to fix. Someone at their body shop obviously took our car out on the town for the weekend. Tried for a month and a half to get them to check it out, but they kept stringing me along. Finally got Shane and the owner Chris Garland to commit to getting the car washed and detailed, only to have them stick me with the bill. Don't EVER work with these guys!

They did everything they were suppose to do.

Poor quality work.

This company has a good sales staff.But that's it. I say that because they convinced me to use Safe house Exteriors. The craftmanship is terrible. After you sign on the dotted line and give them a check they put you on the back burner and you are lucky to get a courtesy call. Then when the job is complete (it was never really complete) you get nothing but excuses from the owner Chris Garland the scam artist. All he does is pass the buck where the buck should stop with him. Avoid doing business with Safe house Exteriors, Period! My neighbor also went through the same disaster. It is one thing to go through the process of dealing with a damaged home but to be vicrtimized by a poorly ran operations like Safe house Exteriors is a disgrace. Safe house exteriors should be shut down.

We really appreciate the work done by Safe House Exteriors. They did a wonderful job with excellent manpower.They firstly optimized every thing and then they planned, organized and after they execute in better manner. They have a wonderful team who work for 24/7 for them with their 100% affects. They were very professional.He show up the steps for the job and the material they used. His way of talking with us and crew was impressive. The Spanish tiles were watched over and secured appropriately. The downspouts and hoods all appear to be durable and were painted. The air well roofing was astounding and touts another and much bigger channel.

The negative reviews on this site are quite surprising. Safe House Exteriors was amazing from start to finish! They dealt with our more than difficult insurance adjustor and even got extra things approved! Our home suffered quite severe hail damage from a recent hail storm in the area. We had several companies knock on our door but ultimately went with Safe House due to a referral from a neighbor. Our roof and gutters were completed on 6/16/15 and my husband and I are thrilled with the results. We plan on referring some of our other neighbors to this company. God bless!

Facing Roofing, Siding or Gutter problem. Open google and type safe house exteriors. Call them. I think this the best solution of your problem. My name is Acres Green and I'm one of those guys who was facing roofing problem. After many researches I found safe house exteriors. The procedure was very simple and the best thing was no hidden charges. I recommend safe house exteriors to every those guy who is facing Roofing, Gutter or Siding problem. I think they are awesome. Just call them. No extra formalities, no hidden charges and work on time. No other words for them.

Aristo Company is terrible. Attractive from a distance but no quality craftsmanship, bad construction and cheap materials on many homes we viewed.

Being in construction myself, this builder thought he could pull a fast one on us and used sneaky tactics to talk about different material options as standard part of Aristo homes but as we asked questions, he not only could not articulate the construction process, he switched his sales pitch on the material options we had previously agreed on to a higher cost! God was watching over us from making a terrible mistake since the following day we met a top home inspector that had nothing but nightmare stories to tell of Aristo. He told us of many homes he was asked to inspect in Fairport, Perinton and Webster that all had major issues, from flooding in yards to flooding in basements to flooding in kitchens. He also had been asked to testify for lawsuits against this builder.

Thank God we knew better and did not lose our hard-working savings to a money-pit home by these phony characters--the terrible work we saw was criminal!

Lies, rips off, pads their own pocket while passing you the buck!

Modestly over 60% of the roofs they inspect/door knock get denied! What’s this mean for you the consumer? It's simple really, when actual current events take place (Hailstorm/Damage happens to your roof and need it! your insurance company will deny the claim based off the previous and frivolous denial or partial in the fiscal year. (Code of Conduct/Terms and Conditions) of insurance companies are not up for debate because it's clear and plain English. Safe House Exteriors will never explain this to you the consumer, it will also not explain that they're over 40% more than any other roofing company in the area this is why they will not give you estimates! The safest bet you could make is to wait for current/actual events Hailstorm/damage and contact a reputable company.

I am sorry to everyone that has to read these lies from this complaint. We had just let an employee go from our company and this person begged us not to let them go. We had to do what was right for the company and our clients by letting them go. I will be taking action against this person for slander in the near future.
